Turmeric is an incredibly versatile ingredient. You can use it in so many different recipes. You can use it in cooking as a spice to season dishes. Turmeric is widely used in soups, dressings, curries, etc. It is also added to rice, vegetables or a stir-fry. Turmeric is super healthy and adds flavor to a savory dish. But many people forget that you can also use Turmeric well in sweet drinks and baked goods.

1. A delicious and simple turmeric 'golden milk' latte.

We begin, of course, with the recipe for a simple turmeric latte.

Turmeric - Turmeric - Latte Mix is a blend of 7 flavorful spices, which frothed with milk make a heartwarming drink. Deliciously spicy. Just 2 grams is enough to prepare a nice spicy Turmeric-Curcuma Latte.

Preparation:

  • Hot Turmeric Latte: Add ½ teaspoon of Turmeric - Turmeric Latte Mix to 180 ml of cold milk and steam.
  • Iced Turmeric Latte: Dissolve ½ teaspoon Turmeric - Turmeric Latte Mix into a little warm water, then add 350 ml of coconut milk (or milk of your choice).

 

2. A healthy turmeric smoothie

Smoothies are not only delicious but also an easy way to get lots of fruit. The best thing about smoothies is that you can experiment endlessly with different ingredients and fruits! Here are a few ideas for a beautiful bright yellow smoothie.

Turmeric Pineapple Sunshine Smoothie

  • 1 cup pineapple (frozen or fresh)
  • 1 cup mango (frozen or fresh)
  • 1-1½ cups water or vegetable milk
  • 1 teaspoon ginger or ginger powder
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric latte mix powder
Sweet Turmeric Smoothie with Basil
  • 1 banana
  • 4 dates (pitted)
  • 1-1½ cups water or vegetable milk
  • a few leaves of fresh basil
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric latte mix powder
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon

Super Foods Detox Smoothie

  • 2 cups fresh orange juice
  • 1 apple
  • 1 banana
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric latte mix powder
  • a pinch of pepper
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 2 teaspoons ginger or ginger powder
  •  3 teaspoons of chia seeds

 3. Golden Milk Frappucino

A delicious Frappucino only takes you 5 minutes to make! You do need a good blender. You can make this frappucino with or without coffee.

Ingredients

  • 4 dates (pitted) cut into small pieces
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric latte mix powder
  • 250 ml vegetable milk 
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger powder
  • a pinch of pepper
  • whipped cream for the topping 
  • 1 - 1 1/2 cups ice cream
  • 1 espresso or regular coffee optional
Preparation
  1. Put all the dates, turmeric, milk, cinnamon and pepper in the blender and blend well.
  2. Add the ice along with the coffee and blend until everything is smooth.
  3. Top with whipped cream and a little cinnamon.
  4. Enjoy!

This simple recipe combines the kick of coffee with the kick of the spices of our Turmeric Latte blend. Be the first to make a regular Turmeric Latte:

Preparation:

  • Hot Turmeric Latte: Add ½ teaspoon of Turmeric - Turmeric Latte Mix to 180 ml of cold milk and steam.

5. Turmeric Ginger Cookies

For about 10 cookies

Ingredients:

  • 1 egg
  • 1 ripe banana, mashed with a fork
  • 1/2 cup ground almonds
  • 1 cup oatmeal
  • 1/2 cup sunflower seeds / sesame seeds / flax seeds / pumpkin seeds
  • 1/2 cup grated coconut
  • a pinch of sea salt
  • 1 -2 teaspoon ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric latte mix powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 tablespoons of coconut oil
  • 3 tablespoons of sugar

Heat the oven to 170 degrees. Mix the egg and banana in a bowl. Then add the almonds, oatmeal, seeds and coconut rind. Mix all this well. Then also add the salt, spices, baking powder and vanilla. Mix again. Finally, add the coconut oil and sugar. Use your hands to knead the dough into balls and then flatten your balls to make a cookie on baking paper. Bake the cookies for 10-15 minutes in the oven until crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. You can store the cookies for about a week in an airtight cookie tin or container.
