Because Hier & Daar works with single estate coffee, the coffees are distinct in flavor and offer a distinct experience. Unique flavors are obtained through terroir, production method, roast profile and of course expertise and brewing method of the barista. To optimize the experience, Hier & Daar uses different beans for specific coffee recipes.

With a focus on coffee and tea with a story, Chris Verstappen, owner of Hier & Daar, chose the unique flavor of Authentic Chai Masala. Chris: "Initially I was skeptical about the Lattes. But there is a strong demand for Chai Latte. When testing different products, Authentic Chai Masala came out as the winner for us. A Chai latte with a distinct presence of cardamom and ginger. Moreover, the Authentic Chai is organic. That is also important to us".
